Dental implants feel, look, and function just like natural teeth, giving you the confidence to eat, speak, and smile with ease.
Implants can last a lifetime if they are looked after correctly, enabling you to keep your full smile for the long term.
As they are held in place by your jawbone, dental implants are incredibly secure, with no worries about slipping or moving.
Unlike dentures, implants stimulate the jawbone, preventing bone loss and sagging in your facial structure.

Dental implants offer a strong, durable, and very aesthetic solution for one or more missing teeth. They are held in place by your jawbone, becoming a stable and secure restoration that enables you to regain the look, feel, and function of natural teeth.
Dental implants are artificial tooth roots that are surgically placed into your jaw. They are made from titanium, a biocompatible material that fuses with the surrounding jawbone to become a solid and durable foundation for replacement teeth on top. We can use dental implants to replace a single missing tooth, multiple teeth in any part of your mouth, and even all your upper or lower teeth.

To begin your dental implant treatment, we see you for a detailed consultation. We assess your teeth, discuss the treatment process with you, and give you the chance to ask any questions. If you have been referred to us from your general dentist, we review any information we have been sent and make sure you understand the referral process.

We take digital x-rays, scans and images of your mouth, which are used to plan the optimum positions for your dental implants to ensure the best results. If you need any advanced procedures prior to treatment, such as a bone graft or sinus lift, these are planned and carried out.

The titanium implants are secured into your jawbone by our highly skilled implantologist during a relatively short surgical appointment. We use local anaesthetic to minimise any discomfort and ensure your fitting goes smoothly. The implants need several months to heal and fuse successfully with your jawbone, so temporary teeth are fitted to protect your gum during this time.

When your implants have had time to fully integrate, your final replacement crown, bridge or denture is custom-made to your exact specifications and fixed in place. After some advice on how to look after your new smile, it is time to start enjoying your new-found confidence!
With the proper care, dental implants can last a lifetime. The replacement tooth that your implant supports may need to be replaced due to wear and tear over time, but implants are designed to be a permanent solution.
The best way to look after dental implants is to treat them like natural teeth. Brushing, flossing, and regular check ups with your dentist are important for keeping your implants problem-free. Also, maintaining good oral hygiene ensures long-term success, and keeps your gum healthy.
Many patients experience a significant improvement in their quality of life after getting dental implants. They can eat their favourite foods with confidence, knowing their teeth won't slip or become loose. Implants also look and feel remarkably like natural teeth, restoring your smile's aesthetics and function.
Dental implants feel and look remarkably like natural teeth. They allow you to eat your favourite foods with confidence, speak without the worry of slipping dentures, and give you back a fully functioning smile. Dental implants can significantly improve your quality of life.
Implants are incredibly versatile. They can replace a single missing tooth, several teeth, or even all your teeth. They can also support bridges or stabilise loose dentures, giving you a full and secure smile.
We use local anaesthetic during your implant surgery, so you will not feel any pain. You may feel some slight discomfort after treatment, but this can be managed by pain relief as advised by your dentist. Implant treatment is often less painful than having a tooth extraction, and most patients are able to return to their usual routines the next day.
You may actually find it easier! As your implants are fused to your jawbone and the replacement teeth securely supported, you shouldn’t have any trouble speaking and may find your speech becomes clearer once the gap in your teeth has been filled.
