All-on-4 is a revolutionary dental implant solution that offers a fast and very effective way to achieve a complete new smile in just one day. They are considered a more cost-effective way to achieve a full smile than more traditional dental implant methods. Four to six dental implants are placed in carefully planned positions at the front of your jaw, creating a solid foundation for a full arch of replacement teeth to instantly transform your smile.
All-on-4 is an ideal treatment for people who may have been told they are not suitable for dental implants due to insufficient bone density. As the implants are placed in the front of your jaw, preparatory treatments like bone grafts are not usually necessary. If you have several missing or failing teeth, All-on-4 implants can give you a secure and aesthetic smile.
At the start of your treatment, we see you for a comprehensive consultation. We examine your mouth, make sure you are suitable for treatment, and discuss the treatment process with you in detail. We also give you the chance to ask us any questions you have about All-on-4 treatment.
Using digital x-rays, scans and images, we carefully plan the optimum positions for the four to six dental implants that will anchor your new teeth to ensure excellent results. Your replacement teeth are created to your exact specifications while you wait.
Our highly skilled implantologist places the implants in your jaw, using local anaesthetic to keep you comfortable and minimise any pain. We use specialist state-of-the-art techniques and materials for the best outcome.
Immediately after your dental implants have been fitted in your jaw, we place your new teeth on top to complete your beautiful smile. With no need for temporary restorations or a healing time without teeth, All-on-4 gives you a new look in just one visit! To finish, we give you some aftercare advice.
Yes, All-on-4 implants are designed to feel like your natural teeth. They offer a secure, comfortable fit and function just like your original teeth, allowing you to eat, speak, and laugh with confidence. Unlike dentures, All-on-4 implants don't press on your gums, providing a more comfortable and natural experience.
All-on-4 implants have the potential to last a lifetime, providing they are looked after properly. This includes taking care to brush your gums so they remain healthy, and visiting your dentist for regular check up appointments.
We use local anaesthetic during your implant treatment, so you shouldn’t feel any pain. Afterwards, you may experience some discomfort, but this can be easily managed with over-the-counter painkillers as advised by your dentist.
All-on-4 can be completed in a single day, with immediate results. You don’t need to wait for your implants to heal or integrate with your jawbone, and are never without teeth. You also don’t need to disrupt your routines or lifestyle for multiple appointments, as just one day in the clinic is typically required.
Most people are suitable for All-on-4 implants, including those who may have been told they don’t have the bone density or quality for dental implants. People who have missing or failing teeth and who are looking for a confident and complete smile are ideal candidates, as well as those who are looking for a superior solution to uncomfortable or wobbly dentures.
The aftercare of the treatment is a very important stage. You will need to attend a check up/assessment to ensure that your new teeth and implants are taking well to their new setting and check if there are any minor modifications that need to be made (to accommodate any healing changes in your mouth). The exact time frame of your check up appointment will vary and we will advise you when we need to see you again.
